Audience research: Audience moodboard
There are many uses of the primary colours of which are red, blue and yellow which are all simple ones to use and in doing so I think I will head in the direction of using red and blue since they go well with most things and as a rule yellow should be saved for certain things as opposed to using it for the main colour scheme. As a general rule however I feel that yellow should never be used, particularly on the front cover neither the contents page save for the image.
The contents and choices in within my mood-board suggests that my front cover have something to be based in technology as that is where my target market of 11-18 year old boys and girls are basing their lives around. As a general rule, I think that if you're aiming the magazine to both boys and girls you should base it around technology and school as these are the safest forms of common tastes the two have.
In secondary research and the knowledge of my own, many other media outlets advertise their magazines through use of hints and tips for getting through life with money, the best technology and the best grades as these are the very things people of this range are focused on in this day and age.
